Biography
Zhen graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from Curtin University. He is also in the process of obtaining ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning accreditation. Zhen brings an enthusiastic approach to modern physiotherapy practices with a combination of evidence based practice and clinical knowledge.
Growing up in Malaysia, immersed in a vibrant mix of cultures, Zhen learned the importance of community and resilience from a young age. Watching his grandparents navigate life with grace despite mobility challenges inspired him to pursue a career where he could make a real impact to help people regain their independence and return to the activities they love.
Throughout his career, Zhen has found immense fulfillment in aiding his clients, as well as my family and friends, in overcoming musculoskeletal injuries. Empowering them with confidence and knowledge about their rehabilitation pathways is a privilege. It brings him great joy to see them return to the sports and activities they are passionate about, or to embark on new ventures they were previously hesitant to try.
Zhen has previously worked as a physiotherapist in the NDIS space for adults and children with developmental delays, neurological conditions and intellectual disabilities. Zhen also has experience in a wide variety of differing sporting injury diagnoses, and their associated management and future prevention strategies through sport trainer roles at Kenwick Football Club, Ashfield Soccer Academy, and Morley Cricket Club.
Outside of work, Zhen enjoys hiking, playing badminton and going on a foodie hunt or cafe hopping with friends and family.
